A TRAIN COLLIDED with a truck carrying propane in Otoe County just after 11am Tuesday morning (2/25) — The driver of the truck was fatality injured. There were no injuries to the train crew. Fire and rescue departments from Union, Nehawka and Nebraska City responded to a train crossing on County Road C about a half-mile west of Highway 75. A hazmat crew from Offutt Air Force Base was requested at the scene for the leaking propane but there was no report of any fire.
